Overview

Trikut Hills, meaning "three peaks," is a scenic hill formation near Deoghar town offering spectacular views of the surrounding valleys and the town below. The hill is famous for its ropeway ride, which takes visitors on a breathtaking aerial journey over dense forests to the upper reaches of the hill. At the top, visitors can explore ancient rock-cut temples, caves, and enjoy panoramic views that extend for miles in every direction. The three distinct peaks give the hill its name and create a distinctive silhouette against the sky.

History & Significance

Trikut Hills has been associated with Hindu mythology and is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva resided. The hill houses several ancient rock-cut temples and meditation caves used by sages and ascetics over the centuries.
