The goddess Chinnamasta is a unique form of the Divine Mother depicted as a self-decapitated deity, representing self-sacrifice and the cycle of creation and dissolution. The temple attracts both devotees and nature lovers for its unique combination of spiritual power and natural beauty.

History & Significance

The temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in India, believed to be spots where parts of Goddess Sati's body fell. Local tradition says the goddess's forehead fell here. The temple has been a significant tantric worship site for centuries.
